3.0 Common Bugs
It can be incredibly frustrating after designing a site to be appealing to both human and robotic visitors, and that is compatible accross all browsers...only to find bugs. The layout isn't quite displaying right in some browsers, or the layout may have spilled completely. Every web designer experiences this at some point. Sometimes the fixes to such bugs are obvious; sometimes they are not and are down to the quirks of a particular browser. You will notice that most of the bugs here relate to IE5&6. Many would argue that IE7&8;, where these bugs have been fixed, have been around long enough now not to worry about these bug fixes, and that webpages should not have fixes to these bugs applied anyway so as to hightlight how bad IE5&6 were. However, as IE6 was a mainstay in many large companies that grant Internet access to employees for many years after it was superceded, and as it is a useful learning experience for future bugs, we will list a few of the common bugs here.
